It's been a while since a song got stuck in my head. The last being Be-yonce's song that goes "to the left, to the left." or something. Now I've got this Alana Davis (known for her cover of 32 flavors) song playing in my head non-stop since this morning. The song's called "I want you" It's nice. I like it much. I'm not sure but I think it's another cover.

Have you seen the new Alpo 2-in-1 TV ad? The one with the overzealous Boston Terrier accidentally spilling water all over his dish? I got intrigued by it and decided to by my Bubba some. I wasn't sure if my Bubba would like it so I set off thinking I'd buy the smallest package I could find. Turns out the smallest available was the one kilo variety. Nevertheless, I decided to take a risk. It's a good thing my Bubba took a liking to it because then I wouldnt know what to do with almost a kilo of kibbles!

Also, for the coffee lovers out there, check out Nescafe's new offering. Viva Vanilla. The tag-line goes "Viva life, viva coffee! Viva Vanilla...rich creamy vanilla flavored coffee mix.

It's good, trust me. The taste reminds me of this sustagen concoction I used to drink when i was much much younger

Ang galing nila no? I'm talking about the illustrators here. Parang pagkadali-daling gumuhit base sa larawan. Pero ubod ng hirap pala. Alam ko kasi minsan na akong sumubok na mag-illustrate. Nakakatawa ang kinalabasan ng artwork ko kaya hindi ko na pinursige.

Kitams! Nakakatawa diba? But give me credit for the girl's top. Kahit papaano nakuha ko naman sya..i think..the rest eh kailangan pa ng isa't kalahating kabang bigas.

Truth, gusto ko pa ding sumubok, mag-aral, mag-practice, hanggang sa hindi na kakatwa kundi maituturing na "puwede na" ang aking obra. Pero tsaka na lang, hindi pa ngayon, ayoko muna...

Ang masasabi ko lang sa ilan dyan na kinukutya/pinagtatawanan ang mga TR pocketbook covers ay subukan n'yo kaya...kayo ang gumuhit. It's not as easy as it seems. That's why I admire these artists, they have gifted hands indeed. Simple as it may be, these cover illustrations are a testament to how much talent we Filipinos have. Bow.

remember marie's assignment? i thought of a song already. it's called "ang lahat ko ay ikaw" by wency cornejo. i so like the tune. it's not too slow and the lyrics (even the title) is perfect for a wedding.

2007 phr fan's day

Kahapon ginanap ang fan's day ng phr at sa sm san lazaro ang venue. successful naman ang pagtitipon, kaya lang sobrang nakaka-conscious. pinaupo kasi nila kami sa harapan tapos nakatutok sa amin yung spotlight. ang init ha, kahit naka-aircon kasi nga nasa loob ng mall, ang init pa din. tapos pinagsalita pa nila kami sa mic... traumatic! sobrang hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ko. hindi ko naman kasi napaghandaan ‘yon. tapos never ko talagang nakawilihan ang magsalita sa harap ng maraming tao. i'm shy eh (seriously). nag-auto mode na lang tuloy ang utak ko. hindi ko na maalala yung mga pinagsasabi ko doon.

ang pinaka-hindi ko makakalimutan ay yung flowers na binigay sa akin ni marge. sobrang unexpected, sobrang nakaka-tats. kamuntik na nga akong maluha eh (seriously ulit)… thank you marge. ang sweet mo, as in :)

bale, nagsimula ang kaganapan dakong alas tres ng hapon at natapos bandang alas sais. sinabay na rin nila yung launching ng phr website. tapos in-introduce din yung gold card ng precious stores. masaya sya. ewan ko sa iba pero ako, nag-enjoy ako. may song numbers. kumanta si jessie ng editorial tsaka si amanda (the writer) tapos dalawang fan (rowena & icah)… may parlor games pa, may raffle, may question and answer, tsaka siyempre book signing. ang host eh isang nilalang na kung tawagin ay richard agtaparap.
